The Bugaloos

Those trippy writers at the Gray Lady. The NY Times tokes up and reviews the Bugaloos, another Sid and Marty Krofft visual weed fest.

Contemporary viewers may delight in the unintentionally trippy symbolism of the Krofft brothers’ shows, but the creators of “The Bugaloos” say the series was simply intended as a fantasy about adolescence. “It’s a time in our lives when there’s so much confusion,” Sid Krofft, 76, said in a telephone interview, “and I think we’d all like to leave it all behind, sprout wings and go live in a big fluffy cloud.”
